Arm chair research, but using coloured paper, or putting a red transparent sheet over the white paper can be helpful.

Hmmm. Could you elaborate?

Coloured paper can reduce the contrast for black on white. Less stress for the brain. For some the tinted overlay can make the words appear clearer.

A weighted font apparently helps.

Color overlays and paper are great.

Multisensory learning that includes an auditory, visual, and kinetic component.

If you tell me about what kind of resources you're looking for, I can tell you more specific information.
