Crypto isn’t something people signup for a product for right. If we’re talking nostr, if it was easy to just install the app, build your profile and start interacting with others etc. People would use it no matter what’s the tech behind it. If crypto also allows zaps - that makes it even more appealing than any non web 3 platform available right now.

Yeah, I just think that a large amount of people today will read "crypto" and assume its some sort of scam and stop reading.
But nostr at it's core is a giant open data lake of user-generated data, secured by their private keys, that can take any form, be re-arranged in any format, and be instantly available on every website or app without the user ever having to export their data. Just log in and go.
Nostr is way bigger than zaps and twitter clones. The design surface is massive. A section on Product Hunt couldn't possibly fit the scope of whats to come.
