Carbon is the Keystone Species

In all soils, at least those used to support life, carbon is the most critical factor. Carbon drives the ability of soils of all kinds to capture and hold water. Carbon plays just as critical a role in nutrient capture, containment, and release. These two things together drive all potential farm and ranch profit on longer time horizons.

Yes.

Farmer Billy wants us all to contribute to carbonizing the soil. And I agree. He'll amount to the small plot I've set aside for sweet potatoes. Because I hate them. Not really. But that crop, I will hate.

If you’re referring to bill gates that person has no idea what he’s talking about. He comes at carbon as an ESG talking point, probably because his owners told him to. He’s pretty dangerous to the future of farming.

No I know. I was saying I was going yo kill him and use him to amend my soil. I was just drunk so I wrote it in a retarded way.

Hah! His remains would probably poison the soil for a generation.
