Seeing a bunch of whining federal employees on LinkedIn that have been let go from their cushy jobs. Always good to have a backup plan no matter how secure you think your job is.

I think it’s always good to be prepared to be fired. It’s a crucial step in securing your own mental/physical freedom.

Jobs are never secure. I've seen people let go after 30 years without hesitation.
