4 year old $150 Samsung Tab A7 Lite holding up 186 connections! No change to performance.

I'm confused, I have been running 50+ relays for years, everyone have been saying to me it was a bad idea. Why is it OK now to run 186? What changed?

It is bad to have 50 relays in your lists (ideally you want just 3), but apps can connect to as many relays as you want. :) Amethyst will just manage that automatically for you now.

My relays? No. You should find your own. I use a paid service from Nostr.wine. You would have to pay as well.

Does that number represent relays you placed in the "general" section manually?
