It provides you with a lightning address to receive zaps, and it fully supports NWC so you can connect your wallet to your client which gives you the ability to send zaps within the app without having to open a seperate wallet. It's free, and it's easy to use. Plus, none of the expenses or required maintenance associated with running a lightning node. Alternatively, you can use Coinos.io which provides basically the same functionality as Minibits except it's web-based so you can use it on all platforms.
