I followed. Interested.
I do wonder what I would suggest someone completely new who just wants to set up on nostr quickly and get on with it. (Maybe they can look into more advanced options later). It's just a lot to do lol. Especially if they're coming from a non-bitcoin background.
I think muun works as a zap address? (They don't do lnurl). It's non-custodial, doesn't require any starting fees (important if onboarding someone on zero). I think people poopooed it a while ago for not being 'true' lightning or something. But I think it might be a good solution. Either that or primal.
Primal is nice, but I haven’t been able to buy says there for a week. Would be frustrating for a newbie maybe. Idk. 🤷
I didn't even know you can buy sats there. Is that non-kyc 🤔
I suppose that wouldn't be too much of a problem really. Thinking of a scenario of just setting someone up on nostr with a wallet as frictionlessly as possible. They probably wouldn't be using primal to buy sats anyway, maybe. Not initially anyway.
Nah it’s KYC. I went through everything non-KYC I could find and it all sucked so bad I gave up el rapido.
Not trying to be inflammatory or anything, but to someone on the outside looking in, I haven’t been shown a single non-KYC method I would deal with for zaps.
Storage, yes. Zaps, no. Hell no.
👀
I want to try this as soon as I get a little spare time
