My concern is the amount of #nutrition that has been lost in our #foods ( in the #USA ) due to our soils being poisoned by chemicals.
We truly live in a Silent Spring.
In the long run, not at all. Aside from most suffer a nutrient, not a caloric, deficiency, more nutricious food entails less calories needed. And then there are the hidden costs of medical bills and missing work from poor health.
Maybe it's a california thing, but healthy food, especially organic anything, is always more expensive here; fruits, steak, etc.. It's no excuse though, pay the $ to be more healthy now, or else you'll pay with your health in the future!
