As a university student, I need to know your all-time favourite recipe on a budget
Discussion
Rice/beans/vegetables (pick your sauce)
Pasta! With whatever you have left in the cupboard…
Any certain pasta recipe, that’s your personal favourite?
All depends what I had. Fresh tomatoes blended with garlic and onion and some fresh basil with a dash of olive oil always worked when stirred into the pasta. Super cheap, super basic…
Sounds tastyyy, damn, should’ve asked this question long time ago💜🫶
We’re talking cheap here. Another was noodles. Don’t just boil them in the crappy sachet they come with! Optimise it. Brown off some roughy cut onions, add some peas and/or some rough-cut veg and even some tuna and some soya sauce. Then add half the sachet (you don’t need all of it now) and then the boiled water and add the noodles - makes a kind of wanton/ramen kind of dish…
Damn, you’ve got some great recommendations buddy💜 Thank you so much🫶
Beans ain’t it. Rice, chicken and vegetables stir-fry goes hard though💜🫶
Dried beans are SO cheap. And you can get a tiny 2 cup rice cooker for about $20 (plus it saves space!)
Ground beef and butter.
If you’re rich, add eggs 😛 (I like runny eggs over the beef)
Huhh? First time I’ve ever heard about such a combo👀 You sure?
Hahah well I’m only a few weeks into the carnivore diet but it’s as cheap as a meat dish can get. And being meat, it’s delicious 😋
Damn, sounds great.
I’ve never ever really had a diet or even counted calories.
My diet plan as it stands is just “vibes”
No need to count calories when you’re eating a proper human diet. I’ve been doing it for less than a month and lost almost 15 pounds. Eating as much meat and fat as my heart desires. Took a bit to get through the mental hurdles but don’t see myself going back.
Damn, 15 pounds in less than a month. What an absolute chad💜💜💜
Sounds absolutely amazing🫶
Nongshim Ramen but poach an egg or 2 in the microwave to add in to make it a meal. Can also add in onion, corn mushrooms, bock choy etc
Never poached an egg in my life. Sounds really tempting 🫶 👀👀
Easy way is just fill a bowl with water crack an egg of 2 into the water microwave for about 2 mins. Longer if more than 1 egg.
Ohh, that’s really simple, I’ll absolutely try that out💜🫶
