you could have quite a first mover advantage. i don't run into any other nostr-only podcasts and there seem to be a number of people who do Nostr-only. if we do believe it's going to get a larger audience eventually, that seems like it could be a powerful place to start--near the beginning of the protocol.

i think having it on Nostr is also so much more powerful than youtube since there is so much content there.

youtube just the advantage over nostr RN of suggesting interesting content from the past, whereas nostr content slips into the timeline. although sometimes i do click on profiles to catch up on older content.

youtube however just seems to read my mind on the next video to watch--sounds like algo-induced pschosis. so a nostr podcast sounds like a really good thing.

maybe i'm just being a Pollyanna,

oh and i'm proactively zapping you--gotcha haha!

Thanks for the zap!

Yeah certainly a first-mover angle to it

What’s fascinating is in 6 months on YT I generated about 50k views

In the same timeframe on Nostr I got 20k views

The percentage of the total eyeballs per day on YT is tiny, given the massive user base

But the percentage of Nostr seeing my content is huge, because the user base is so small (20k users per day)

So what does it mean if you can grow with the protocol and keep a large chunk of daily users attention?

Lots of opportunities that’s for sure
