It blows my mind that people actually spend time listening to music. It's not even a judgement on people, I understand that I'm the odd one out here, but I can't think of any point in my life where I was like, "You know what? I think music would make this moment even better." Might be a symptom of my 'tism, just can't wrap my head around how it's overwhelmingly the norm. I just spent 20 hours this week driving up and down from the mountains, and never once thought to turn on the radio. That horrifies people for some reason.

I'm the exact same way
Do you exercise?
I do? Is there some correlation I'm not understanding 😅
I’m not a huge music person either. One exception, though, is when I’m working out. I always have headphones in when I’m getting after it.
Gotcha. I'm usually trying to mentally map out what all I need to do and what machines to grab, and what my backup is if someone takes the machine. I find the extra noise in my head a bit too distracting.
Music is a must for a good party, can't stand going to house party or get together with no music.
While driving I like to listen mostly to podcasts, especially if it's long boring interstate runs.
I'll out on the occasinal album or playlist too depending on my mood
My wife's side of the family is latina so they occupy the 'ambiance' with their need to hear themselves talk. I might actually prefer music in these situations but alas, my mother in law can't handle any noise that competes with her nagging. I do listen to podcasts as often as possible though.
