Have you check BitTorrent? It’s not appreciative of intellectual property unfortunately, (shouldn’t there be a way of doing that without getting raped along with the creator by a publisher) but it’s pretty effective.

I don't like to torrent. Too big of a security and privacy risk.

I hear you. I can recommend putting a solid VPN on your router, not your computer. This is an important distinction because some torrent clients don’t play nice with routing tables, but the router gives no choice in the matter. Azirevpn accepts Bitcoin and Monero! Be free!
