If you don't mind the KYC then a quick workaround is buying some Sats from CashApp and sending them to your WOS account (you can also use CashApp for lightning payments).

I'm not in the US. Prefer to do it non KYC tbh. Apple Pay would suit though

Thanks. I've done a decent chunk of the bitcoin reading. I'm not an early adopter (I wish) but bought my first BTC in 2018. I've just never paid much attention to Lightning until recently
Most of us aren’t early adopters and we all learning all the time. With #Bitcoin it never stops. Lightning Network is something tho, isn’t it? 😂 This marriage of #lightning and #nostr gonna make many dive deeper into LN and run their own LN nodes and nostr relays too. You love to see it.
