So 10000 a year? And this(people on waitlists) is a population that is definitely more likely than most to have a life threatening health event at any given moment. These stats are meant to be alarming but what are they comparing agaisnt and how are they arriving at ‘likely double’. This is just bad reporting with heavy bias
Now I understand why it's so popular with socialists.
My guess is that they had deliberately downgraded the system, to make it more capitalist friendly, so to force the patients to seek solution to the private sector. A well known recipe...
