Most average people know that free wifi w portals have accept tos. I've never seen one ever pop up a google login. I think the average person wpuld know this is a trap because a free wifi will never pop up a google login on connect. Also most portal screens you can hold your finger at the top by the display name & it auto copies the url that is being hidden there.
This is obviously a trap, but I could see 2 out of 5 people being dumb enough to enter their Google password
Good advice for those who don't study personal security.
And if u do.
You need to usw an 24/7 VPN Tunnel.
I would avoid critical connections via apps. Banking, etc.
