I've always wanted a simple picture of how the Fed works and how money is created. (as we all know, the Fed does NOT print money, banks create and destroy money (debt)). Any feedback welcome (while keeping it fairly simple)

A color coded key for with color coded boxes for private vs government. Many people are unknowningly and subconsciously duped by the term federal

cool. should i put an arrow from Treasury to Fed, and if so, what would it say?

Can anyone help this pleb? #[0]

The concept is not that hard to understand (how money is created) , but this image is not as simple as you wanted, but you can simplify this

I don’t want a box labeled “Government “. What is step 1 on that diagram?

?

I understand the concept, I am try to help others. Many think the Fed prints money and sets interest rates but they don’t.

I’ll watch the video but my point is to have a simplified diagram for normies, not send them a long video. So if you have recommendations let me know too

It doesn’t quite emphasize that the FED actively buys Treasury bonds with newly created $ and thus increases it’s own balance sheet & finances government debt. Without extraction of $ elsewhere it’s basically printing.

Ofc banks can also create money by giving loans.

Let me know if I miss sth.

You really should have a look at all of Mike Maloney's videos but this one will explain what you are trying to draw here.

nothing technical in here but from visualization perspective I would recommend adding some numbering if possible.
