Yes. An S9 will work on regular 120 volts. You will need to install custom firmware if it doesn't already have it, but that's easy. I underclock mine to 800 watts.

It was preinstalled by kaboomracks and it works flawlessly. Very easy UI and takes abt 10 seconds to adjust settings.

Yeah definitely should do it if you have excess solar! Mining is exceptional for energy efficiency!
