I would love to use nostr:npub17n4cuc4d6y6qh89dekvxrenfkt5s0n49xns00uavjaxpr36c55dq87fyh9 as my main client but it kicks my out at least once a day with bunker via nostr:npub1am3ermkr250dywukzqnaug64cred3x5jht6f3kdhfp3h0rgtjlpqecxrv7

So, can we debug this?! Tired of deleting my nostr:nprofile1qqswacu3amp428kj8wtpqf77yd2upukcn2ft4aycmxm5scmh359e0ssppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qyg8wumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnddakj7qg4waehxw309aex2mrp0yhxgctdw4eju6t09uvt9vcv configuration every day and creating a new one

Since I don’t have an Android device and I’m not very familiar with Amber, I’m not sure what the cause is. I think nostr:npub1vxd0dfst8ljvwva2egrpc53ve8ru78v8aaxfpravchkexmfmmu3sqnrs50 and nostr:npub1pt4qwkcpp76et45pfatrxqywsuxh0gky84xa592yapesuqye29zql4eera might be able to help you. We spent a long time debugging this before, and haven’t heard any user reports about it for quite a while. Could it be that your Amber app isn’t up to date?

The connection issue with idsera was finally resolved after I added a few more relays, in addition to just nsec.app. This leads me to believe that the root cause might not be with amber or jumble themselves, but rather an unstable connection to a specific relay.

To help narrow this down, I have a couple of questions:

Do other apps that use Amber for login, such as coracle or primal, experience the same connection problem?

Does the same issue occur with the web version of jumble when used on a PC?

As a side thought, I wonder if using a local relay app on the phone, like nostr:npub1hqlxlq57nvlq70ugmsmu9y5lmyc5k2lh5w7y85j7dgsr5u7zwavq5agspw , could potentially mitigate the problem. Of course, I'm also concerned about the user experience of asking someone to install a whole other app. However, since this issue seems to affect only a small number of users, if this is confirmed to be a reliable fix, we might consider suggesting it as a workaround specifically for those affected.

Other apps work fine. I'm using it for Amethyst, Primal, zap.stream and a few others.

Unfortunately I don't have a computer at hand.

I have Citrine running on my phone. What should I try?

Right now, the app communicates with Amber through a few hard-coded default relays, so users have no options to change them. I was considering ways to ease this problem, like letting users select some relays or adding 127.0.0.1:4869 to the default list.

However, if other apps aren't having major issues, it might not be a relay connection problem. Amethyst and Primal are native clients, so they wouldn't use relays in the same way, but zap.stream is a web app and should be communicating through relays.

nostr:npub1vxd0dfst8ljvwva2egrpc53ve8ru78v8aaxfpravchkexmfmmu3sqnrs50, has your connection issue been completely resolved since we added some other relays?

Oh I'm using the zapstream app. Let me try the web app.. Looks like there is no option to use a bunker on the web app. Only extensions.

So I created an nsecbunker with local Citrine as the only relay and that seems to work 🤞

Yes. Never had any more problems since more relays was added.
