I recently found some garden snails and threw them in a terrarium for my wife as pets, and me more for observation and curiosity.

They are very interesting creatures. They too are hermaphrodites. I also found out they need another snail to mate, can hold on to sperm from one snail, get with another and use that sperm to get pregnant, then use the old stuff later if they need it.

I have become fascinated and have plans for a snail farm in the near future.
