I'm a huge fan of this speed listening to podcasts thing. I finished the entire Saylor Series on the What is Money Show in less than 24 hours (my second listen).
I incrementally worked myself up to 2x speed, does anyone else do this?

good idea.
This podcast gave me the idea, I'm still not sold on speed reading, but I consume a ton of information via podcast, I'm thrilled to be able to optimize that system.
Started doing this for Bitcoin podcasts recently as well. At higher speeds I need more focus to not have to rewind stuff I missed if my mind wanders for a few moments.
I actually like that it requires more focus, when I'm working I cut away distractions and focus on flow states and being present.
Now I get to do the same with podcast listening, perfect to stay more mentally active while I'm doing menial tasks.
Been listening to both those episodes with that guy who talks really fast. Blew my mind they idea of doing such things. I tried the white noise while reading with a tracer and hell i read way more than i usually do in half the time
I have been listening to podcasts and YouTube videos at 2x for the last 3 years. Changed my life and haven’t looked back.
yes, the only one who is impossible to 2x listen is taro creator roasbeef, it´s kind of funny, try it.
Whoa, he basically just talks at 2x speed normally 🤣
yeah, his brain works too fast. but it´s a good idea i think, i make 2 to 2,5 times depending of the speed of who is talking. if you use it on fountain.fm you can earn a lot of sats too.
I don’t think she picked up half of what he was putting down 🤙🏼
Last time I listen to him I had to slow down the podcast 😅
Love Saylor!
welcome to the 2x speed club. just make sure to slow down after so you dont forget anything.
also If you press "Shift + <" or "Shirt + >" on youtube videos you can change the speed without clicking through the settings menu :D
