My opinion.
I see how bad this can go and it’s just not worth it.
I guess the question is can we ultimately stop it.
Absolute power corrupts absolutely and this 💯 will be used against us at one point.
That's a doomer view, I respect it but I disagree that the "end result" will be this Orwellian doomer outcome.
I appreciate that.
Human nature is to be fearful of those things we do not understand.
Maybe my view will change but I’m def not going to be the one to jump at every opportunity to put it on my phone. 😂
It's kind of like Bitcoin - the outcome will affect even non (current) users.
We lived through a decade of data collection where privacy was trampled.
Little concerned where that data goes with AI. 😂
A real deal AI might have better morals than our current decision makers 🤔

Can we just talk to each other? Make friends and help everyone out. Everyone has so many gifts to assist people with. Why lose our social aspect of communing with one another and rely on Ai
You're not crazy, just a luddite. Just like any other tool, it's only dystopian if you can't use it and is instead used against you.

I'll be a bit more worried when it's actually capable of intelligence. For now, what I see is a glorified search engine and a copycat.

It's just overhyped. It's really just a magic show at this point. It can generate images and generic text. It's not creative. It isn't going to be trusted with complex systems. It's not going away, but it will effectively do 1/10th of what is being promised currently. The more I use it, the less impressed I am.
