Too bad that 100% monero transactions will become readable while thousands of #Bitcoin LN node runners, using the network the correct way, will be safe.

Can you also provide the source of the 1% of users, or you pulled it out of your ass?

The 1% was rhetorical but it is not far off. Even if 5% are sovereign LN users, not all of them are adhering to best LN privacy practices.

Count custodial LN wallet downloads. Count non-custodial wallet downloads that require LSPs to use. Now compare them vs non-custodial wallets where you can optionally use your own LN node or must use your own LN node. Very easy for you to do, but I can go do it right now and give you up-to-date stats if you want.

Look no further than everyone using custodial addresses on Nostr to give you another broad view of custodial LN adoption 💜

Depends how long that takes to become possible. Just because it can be broken at some point down the line doesn't mean it will immediately be a trivial thing to do.

If they can break Moneros encryption in the distant future those users will be long gone and current users will already be on better tech so who cares 🤷‍♂️

You're telling me it will be possible to break encryption, but it's just too darn difficult for large LN nodes and spooks to actively save that data to break later? Please. 99.9% of custodial and LSP LN users would be in the same boat.
