That is real cloud fogs, we where at 3300 meters above the sea in a mor called "las coloradas" in Venezuela, tachira state.

Why do you think in movies it will be bright blue sky then all of the sudden something dramatic happens and all of the sudden it's night and raining🤷🏽

Is funny that u associated the fog with apocalipsis,I think it is because in first World almost all fogs are made because the air contamination or at least thats what movies makes it looks like.
But the air in tachira is really clean and when the fog happens is literally clouds surroundings us and I think thats really cool

I attribute it to 2 things in my own mind.
The movie the fog freaked me out as a teenager.
And movies about war usually have at least one scene where it gets all quiet and through the smoke they wander hearing far off terrible screams and noises🤷🏽
