Love & hate

I don't believe we can love and hate someone at same time...either you love, or you hate.

If you choose to hate, where is the love in it?

I have corrected myself 😊 in the next answer 😊... Always Love...

There is no love without hate... ☯️

I veement disagree. πŸ«‚

Ok... Maybe I don't know 😞

Imagine a mother. Do you think a loving mother, is capable of hating her child?

Yes...

I have seen it 😭

...and felt it...

The opposite of love is not hate but Indiference. IMHO.

It's not indifference... I have to disagree with you... I don't know how to call it in English...

It is for me. πŸ«‚ But we can disagree πŸ˜œπŸŽ‰πŸ«‚

You can do something for me...? 😊😈

I need some blasphemy memes from you right now, to have a good laugh πŸ€£πŸ˜‚

I have to find them....lol

Fuck... The longest conversation it's with me in this thread...😈

Mostly love

Hurt people, hurt people

hurt people hurt people

Do you think they are aware? You must be too much self-centred to not be aware of how your actions have impact on others ?!

in some instancesβ€”yes.

in others, perhaps most, probably not.

i've met a handful of really cruel people who were hurting and consciously chose to hurt others.

scary...

They've been hurt prior and they haven't resolved the issue for themselves. As for the consciously part, I have doubts that's the case.

Shame

Shame? How come?

I was thinking that hurting others is a form of passing on ones own shame. (If I shame you I don't feel my own shame.)

Of course this is a simplification, human relations are hugely complex and there are are many reasons why humans hurt each other.

This one just came to mind as I was thinking if someone ever tries to put you down (hurt you), one response is to say I don't think I'm going to be shamed by you today.

Take care.

Interesting James.

I never thought about it that way.

On a first reaction, that is very mean, cold, selfish and calculated.

Either way, a projection of an issue that the other is oblivious about.

Thank you for explaining. πŸ«‚
