I don’t want or mean to agitate, but we’ve since learned the incredible importance and devious blurring of the lines between “died of” and “died with”. Lives cut short are tragic, but lives lost with the coincidental presence of a virus is altogether different and served as a pretext for incalculable costs incurred by others. This is the real tragedy.
