Not quite always though. It CAN accomplish this but doesnt always. For example, today's bitfest was super cool but zaps went to the user hosting the livestream and not direct split to artists. We have to "trust" the sats eventually make it to the artist. Nostr didnt fix this, in fact it went backwards. With timevaluesplits, its transparent who is getting what sats. So in the live stream example you cam verify artists are getting x% of your zaps.
