Kona coffee is one of our favorites but it is super expressive.
We buy about 20lbs a year & roast it for holiday gifts. It's $20-30 a pound green our cost from the importer. ☕️
I think my favorite is a Ethiopian coffee
Yirgacheffe for the win.
Yirgacheffe is a terrific region. The best roaster for this used to be LaColombe who had a YirgZ that drank like a lemon balm tea with incredible consistency.
Nice! I made Yirgacheffe lattes yesterday morning for my wife & I. They were fantastic. Here are the tasting notes for the Yirg we are roasting.
