what do you find useful on embassy besides bitcoin clients?

I actually use most of the services that embassy offers, but I've been running them for many years on my own server. Plex, Sonarr, Radar, Omni, Vaultwarden, Gitea, Matrix.

Okay maybe not most 🤣 I said many in my head but wrote most. Sorry.

You should give Jellyfin a spin as an alternative to Plex.

I've been using Plex since 2008. I just don't see a reason to change at this time.

umm, didn't Plex have a password breach last fall? It's also started to fill up with junk when they keep moving toward offering streaming tv

Jellyfin works awesome, it has come a long way and i think it has reached feature parity with Plex. FOSS and hardware encoding are free too!

That was many years ago. I had 2FA and use Google OAuth. I don't use any of the features that they keep adding. I tried Jellyfin years ago and I couldn't even cast to my devices in my house. I assume since that's now standard that it supports it. If it's on feature parity then maybe I'll spin up a docker container and check it out at some point.

Same boat on plex. Bought lifetime in 2014. Love it, but wish they’d let me turn off all their random stuff.

Thanks for making me look at Jellyfin again. It's matured a lot since I last looked at it many years ago. I have a docker install running now and I'm currently building my library. I'll setup an SSL cert and external domain later and see if I can get my cast devices working. 🤙

running #eos033 too. very good adds!

sure your surname ain’t Zoolander?

He learned blue steel from me 20 years ago.

MyNode added Nostr relay's and astral as well!

Yep! Super cool. Neither added Nostream though. Not sure why.
