I recorded round 2 with him last week, this time as a guest on his channel (first time he was my guest), and I went DEEP on #bitcoin.
Since him and his audience are brand new to #btc, I decided to focus purely on that, and not bring Nostr into it too; it would've been too much of a firehose.
I DID sneak Nostr in at the very end though, as "another thing people should check out 😉😉" so the touchpoint to him & his 400K subs will be locked in once he uploads the episode.
If y'all are subscribed to/following him on the legacy socials, it would definitely help to hit him with "WEN NOSTR" wherever you can. As of now I'm the only person who's mentioned it to him so he could use more nudges from the masses.

I bounced in and out of nostr phases for my entire first year probably, until realizing holy shit this is actually the endgame and I need to turn X/IG/YT into marketing funnels to bring people here before these platforms catch onto their imminent demise and throttle any content with "nostr" in it lol
How long do you think an adoption cycle for nostr should be?
Hard to predict, but a lot faster than Bitcoin once the word gets out
There are a lot more people out there who enjoy using social media & earning money for their content than those who will sit down and read The Bitcoin Standard or study Austrian economics
Way less friction, and the beauty of it is that it will end up bringing more people to bitcoin

It won't take long. Just go back 2 years and check for oppressive regimes against free speech. Will give you two of the examples, you know them pretty well probably. Canadian truckers, UK riots.
There will be many more of these in the coming months like US elections is a potential candidate.
