Right. Imo Bitcoin is providing it's value as currency. It doesn't have to provide anything else other than being a tamperproof monetary system with a never changing monetary policy. confirming transactions 24/7, 7 days a week with 0 accounting errors.

We should be improving its transfer speeds and costs, not degrading them.. I trust the market to find value as it sees fit, maybe the jpgs evolve to house titles, maybe people decide to (seriously) us blocks as a time system, maybe the blockchain can be the foundational structure to a global marketplace.. We've had markets, two-way escrow and other bartering on the BTC chain for a long time. It just never caught on and then was forgotten about when ETH took smart contracts to the next level.
