What's interesting about nostr is there are a lot of people on here who say some pretty seriously derogatory things about various categories of people but people within those categories still freely interact with those folks. Im sure there is plenty of muting too but more importantly, conversations proceed amongst people who apparently hate eachother (unilaterally or bilaterally). I think this is healthy for better or for worse.

I've noticed that as well. I've called an unknown amount of strangers a bunch of cunts but I probably still joke and laugh with them every day. We agree to disagree and have fun anyway.

I mean why participate on social media or the internet for that matter and get butthurt by a stranger who doesn't know you. As they say, opinions are like assholes, everyone's got one.

I agree and if there is one thing most of us probably agree on is that you should avoid getting your butt hurt by a stranger. But if that's your thing, then those people can do as they please.
