No, that’s a wild idea though, maybe I’ll try it. I don’t have honey bees anymore as a bear ate my bee boxes :(

Fucking bears. My understanding is old Meads were the thoughtgasm of the preservation of mushrooms in honey. Certain particular mushrooms.
Put up an electric fence around the hives. When you first put it up, hang a slice of bacon on each side. Thank me later.
