Follower count doesn't matter on Nostr.
Not only because you can easily spin up npubs to create fake followers. But traditionally, follower count used to be a metric that attracted sponsorships for monetization. However on Nostr, you can earn money directly from each post. This encourages sharing valuable content over chasing followers.
Real followers give zaps. And real profiles deserve them. Fake is fake, let them rot on the vine.
