I think this is also the aim with medical school & military training. Education isn't the reason for the long hours & abuse. The goal is to break people the way you break a horse, exhaust them into mindless compliance.

I’ll never understand the “but they need social interaction” crowd.

1. They can do extra curricular activities.

2. Homeschooling doesn’t mean it’s only them and the parent.

3. I went to public school and know some absolute psychopaths from there and private schools.

It's not just government schools. It's all traditional education.
