I can imagine a future where no one has that power. That’s the future I want.
Until then, we live in this present, where there is a centralized platform that can be allowed to operate or can be restricted.
Prohibition always fails. If we would put our investment dollars into education, we wouldn't need to put up guiderails and lock doors.

The glaring fact of both choices: neither addresses the issue that the same people who claim it’s “for the protection of its citizens”, allow/allowed it to occur, and are most likely pissed that they aren’t profiting at the same rate of return as their “opposition”. Diabolical
