reading rumi in farsi and reading the english translation is wild. the amount of descriptive words lost through translation is baffling.
but also proves his greatness, as he still excels as one of the greatest poets through all languages.

He’s a master. Sunrise Ruby is one of my favorites. I wish I could read his work in its original language. That’s a pretty cool gift.
