Nomadism seems to be lauded in #bitcoin, but it is not feasible or desirable for most. Being rooted to a place and people will eventually become the norm.

I agree. Community building is pretty obviously the more low time preference behavior compared to jumping ship constantly.
I think the nomadism is helpful to spreading bitcoins usage, but much like the Christian missionary network, its end goal should be to create indigenous networks that function and thrive on their own.
