Yeh, that’s a client and a server.

We move in cycles between centralised and decentralised computing every 10 - 15 years.

It’s a very tech-heavy term that means something very different to most people. A “client” for most people is a customer. An “app” is what we should be calling it if we want to decrease friction for new users.

Absolutely, which is why I more often than not say app because people outside of tech circles don't understand the terminology. I also mention that we shouldn't say relays either. People understand network and server. Relay is a bad and confusing name.
