we have zaps, and almost everyone can use them
some people will whine and say it's difficult but thety can just go back to Xitter that's fine... until their dictator orders all the ISPs to block it because enlol is saying mean things
also, there is such a thing as limited free tier access, and then they just need a custodial wallet and beg and they can be on it, in fact that can be a whole reason for people to zap, to onboard people nicely with a month or two access to get started
quality of clients needs to improve though
