There are still a lot of bitcoiners on Twitter who haven't joined Nostr yet. I wonder if it's just a matter of time. It's hard to start afresh when you've spent years building an audience shitposting and engaging in meme warfare with shitcoiners.

If you are a drama addict, twitter is the place to be.. Unfortunately, many bitcoiners cannot get past the drama and focus on more productive things. Many think they are on a mission to engage in online conflict and convince people of Bitcoin's value etc. There is actually no need to convince anybody about Bitcoin. It works, and people who have witnessed it work together to make it work even better as time goes by.

I agree. There’s no need to defend bitcoin to nocoiners or shitcoiners as it stands up on its own merits. That said, there is so much dis/misinformation on Twitter about it if they can change minds or ridicule those “I’m new to bitcoin and here to fix it” types then so be it. Plus, some people just love arguing for the sake of it 😀
