I regret that I subscribed for the blue check. I applied for the legacy checkmark after the Oslo FF 2022, that was before the whole Elon mess started. I thought it’s good to have it for my work in Africa so that people see, I’m not a scammer. I didn’t anticipate that Twitter would turn out to try to become a financial network. 😳😣
The fact that so many influencers who are vocal anti-CBDC immediately complied with twitter identity verification and continue to defend their decision is an incredibly interesting case study on the human condition.
Important to learn from all of this so we can better prepare for what comes next.
