I really enjoyed the television show "What's my line?" In which a celebrity panel tries to guess the line of work of different guests, specifically the earlier seasons
There's an absolute sea change between the 1950s/early 60s version of the show (men in suits, women in nice dresses, women referred to as Ms. or Mrs., everyone respectful) and the late 60s/70s version of the show which clearly comes from a different culture than that which had existed before (baggy clothes & hair, sloppier forms of address, much more casual atmosphere)
"Great Society" welfare, permanent war, abandonment of sound money, drug culture, birth control pill... I think the 1960s destroyed traditional America
Thanks CIA
