Phone case, for sure. My phone fell out of my pocket when i was getting out of my car and cracked my screen when I wasn't using one.

Ruined multiple phones before I realized how necessary a case was.

yup. It's almost a guarantee that I'm going to accidentally drop it at some point. A case is like essential insurance against that.
