then paste it and remove the “https://damus.io/%E2%80%9D and add @ at the start so it begins “@nevent”

- copy note which is @nevent (for resharing/pasting to nostr) and;
- copy note for web (http)

If you paste a damus io link in a post in damus it will convert it to an nostr:nevent, the damus io links are for sharing externally, although they are sub par atm for that use case
Its simplest to just have a single share link that does the right thing no matter the context imo
