💯 There’s no such thing as safety without freedom.

It would be like trying to get “health” by giving up quality food and exercise.

Or getting a “robust environment” by giving up rain and sunshine.

These things are axiomatically dependent on each other. If you don’t have freedom, then you are entirely dependent on some master for your safety, which is the opposite of security, it means your life is the product of someone else’s decisions.

Security is lost at the exact same degree freedom is lost.
