Installing Kubuntu after dealing with KDE Neon for so long really shows how much more user friendly the installer is, even during a manual install.

Tried Kubuntu long time back .. settled on Debian with xfce ..

Debían is the distro of the wise, plus XFCE reinforces that. I'm afraid I'm still quite foolish myself chasing extra eye candy and a bit of the edge 😝
