If you're looking for a game that forces your kids to cooperate with each other, check out Split Fiction!

I completely agree. Their previous game It Takes Two is also a cooperative game but perfect for couples!
"Preventing these coins from being stolen" sounds a lot like taking away agency from the coin owners, active intervention, even if with good intentions is what the fiat system constantly does.
Giving people the tools to move them to a safe address seems way more sane to me, if they don't take action it's on them whatever the outcome is. Of course that assumes they're even aware of it, but in the end freezing it would have them lose their coins anyway so with the former there's at least a chance for them to safeguard their coins.
So either they lose it for not being in the known and not moving or lose from a direct intervention, which seems more hostile and against the Bitcoin ethos to me.
Now how much economic actors value non interventionism vs "good interventionism" is up in the air.
IMO giving options is better than deciding for users, taking away their agency.
But what is that about having to freeze insecure spend paths? Doesn't that still gives people agency to pick that option instead of just losing their coins by default to being frozen?
Hell yeah, the whole nostr ecosystem of apps needs this. I feel like I've seen more and more people making their social media private, keeping it to their inner circle and not exposing their interests to everyone.
Was very impressed checking out Nostria for the first time today but it doesn't seem to load in nostr:nprofile1qqsth7fr42fyvpjl3rzqclvm7cwves8l8l8lqedgevhlfnamvgyg78spz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhszrnhwden5te0dehhxtnvdakz7qghwaehxw309aex2mrp0yhxummnw3ezucnpdejz7qnse3k not sure on which end the issue is
You can't legitimize state authority over others when it serves you and then be surprised when it's used against you. Don't redirect state authority, extinguish it.
I was reading https://divine.video/ mission statement page with nostr:npub1wmr34t36fy03m8hvgl96zl3znndyzyaqhwmwdtshwmtkg03fetaqhjg240 voice in my head for some reason, only to find out it was him behind it after all lol
I'm sorry to hear that Katja. Best of luck π«
I believe it was mentioned in the documentation but according to some X users, the fact they retained the xpub indefinitely wasn't mentioned. Also people mention that it wasn't technically necessary either, that they could've used block filters instead.
I wonder if nostr:nprofile1qqsvnx99ww0sfall7gpv2jtz4ftc9v6wevgdd7g4hh7awkpfvwlezugppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0jwtjpy looked into RBG, if it could help with this.
True that! Although less likely
Sup team, I'm getting these huge gaps of missing posts, both on the Android app and web. Known issue? Something on my side? No issues on other nostr clients
Doesn't seem like it, it's on their official IG page https://www.instagram.com/p/DQCcwB5Dem_/
Just begging for an open alternative.

I use it quite a bit, as of recently it started being annoying about VPN connections, an open alternative would be great.
Everyone is certain that you're hacking the plane. Also the window seater is fucked π
Recently it came to me while listening to a gaming podcast that most of the topics in gaming are just people freaking out about the market adapting to current economic and/or social conditions. Then dramatically holding previous scenarios as a holy grail, e.g. 'job security', development time and experimentation trends.
If they knew that this is normal and expected, most of the commentary would be unnecessary. That ignorance also ends up in them begging for government intervention just so they can feel in control of something that is naturally ever-changing.
Attempted control, mind you, that often distorts the market and creates a lot of the very same issues they are mad about in the first place.
Nosotros came such a long way since I last used it, it's lowkey criminally underrated. It's so beautiful and has most of features I'd ever want, the only thing missing really is DVM feeds. I do see relay feeds but those are something else completely. That and WoT filtering and we're gold, incredible job nostr:nprofile1qy28wumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyv9kh2uewd9hszrthwden5te0dehhxtnvdakqzxrhwden5te0wfjkccte9ehx7um0w3ex7uewv9c8qqgswaehxw309ahx7um5wgh8w6twv5qzp3nq8v83enlvvfwecz9h20j0wa827lgu7fmfygcjtd0afknjsqv7zldp6m
Given that so much of the news is rage inducing events that is out of your control, we need a tool to parse what's useful and what's not and deliver only summaries of actionable tasks (with maybe sources of the reasoning) based on your own set of points of interest.
E. g. War starts between country X and Z: stock on ammunition Z, change investments from A to D, importance of structure A up X points in area E.
AI is the most obvious tool to consider here but hallucination is also still a thing.
