Not gonna lie, one time I googled if ticks are known to do this.
The answer according to the internet was no, because they wouldn’t be able to breathe in there. Bugs do need oxygen. So that’s nice.

Hopefully that’s applicable to most insects. Definitely a relief. Although, the thought of a bug crawling up there and suffocating also scares me because…dead bugs 😂🫂
Ticks give me the creepy crawlies more than anything else on Earth. Precisely because as a kid while playing outside with my friends, I felt something crawling on my butt cheek. I was wearing a short skirt and reached back to flick off a nasty tick that was just looking for the perfect spot to settle in... Been freaked out about ticks ever since, even now I involuntaryly screamed and shivered.
