Lol I’ve been tagged by 2 people this morning upset/offended that I muted them. Without better in-app options for filtering our feeds, if you post and reply a lot (and some of you post and reply a LOT…heard of DMs?) there’s a good chance I’ve muted or even unfollowed you at one time or another to keep my feed manageable. And there’s a chance I forget to unmute or refollow. If it matters that much to you, say hello and I’ll likely unmute and follow back. There’s also a chance you’re insufferable and annoying, but then there’s also a chance I am so idk what to tell you. We’re a bunch of people trying to get along, and people get on each others nerves sometimes. 🤷‍♂️😂💜

It does highlight the usefulness that features like in-app lists and being able to hide a conversation from your feed would provide. Lists would help categorize depending what/who we’re trying to find at a given moment, and then easy to switch between. And being able to hide a conversation from your feed would help when a few people start replying very actively but you’re not interested or involved in the conversation. It’s to see the activity and friendships, but it also competes for limited screen space when you’re just trying to scroll and see other posts and conversations that may be going on.
