No, I can open a channel with only clearnet but I don't know what is your requirements, that is why I want to check your node via the keyid

I might install TOR as well, but I'm afraid it will slow down my payments. I have PTSD from last time.

Don't install TOR... if your service is a public one better to be on clearnet, seems that a 1M channel could help, it's ok?
